KBC has partnered up with 'and& summit & festival' to hold a startup Demo Day on Thursday 3 May. It's a network and business event where Belgium's top startups will be pitching their products, business models and innovative technologies.
The audience which includes CEOs, investors and entrepreneurs, decides who wins the 50 000 euros' worth of prizes.
The crowd chooses whether your favourite startup will be selected for the startup demo day. Everyone can vote for their favourite startup by taking part in an online competition.
You can cast three votes for three different startups in the online competition. The 38 startups with the most votes win a booth. The 20 best startups are selected by a jury and will pitch their projects live in Leuven's Stadsschouwburg (Municipal Theatre) to more than 600 attendees.
All entrepreneurs wishing to take part can sign up by sending an e-mail to info@bolerocrowdfunding.be. Use the subject heading 'Take part in startup Demo Day competition' giving:
Bolero Crowdfunding will collect all information and include it on the competition page. The Dutch version went online on Friday 22 December. The faster you send us the information, the sooner you can start collecting votes. The competition entries page closes at 4 p.m. on Thursday 15 March 2018. Winners will be notified.
You don't need to take part as an entrant to set up a crowdfunding campaign. But it's a good way of presenting your company to potential investors and/or customers, getting feedback, etc.
